About The Position

As the Services Technician, you will be responsible for delivering the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability. This is an onsite service technician position based in Bohemia, NY, in our service department.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalency
  • 2+ years of service experience including use of test equipment and troubleshooting
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
  • High customer orientation
  • Team spirit
  • Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
  • Identification with our core values: Sustainability, Openness, Enjoyment

Nice To Haves

  • Technical degree in chemistry, biology, physical measurements or similar is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide service and customer support during field and inhouse visits or dispatches
  • Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports
  • Ensure the timely and correct documentation of processes
  • Operate vehicle in a safely manner and use field automation systems
  • Follow all company's filed procedures and protocols
  • Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
  • Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations / briefings
  • Contact customers concerning processes of the customer file
  • Build positive relationships with customers
