About The Position

At Pattison Agriculture, we are looking for multiple Agricultural Service Technicians (Shift) to join our fast-paced, energetic dealership in Russell, MB. Our Service Technicians are committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining agricultural and turf equipment. In one of Canada’s top John Deere dealer organizations, you will deliver quality work in a friendly and collaborative environment that encourages learning and growth. The shift structure on the repair side of the shop is new for this location, and shifts may rotate to include morning, afternoon, or evening shifts. There may also be options within the shift to have modified/compressed work weeks.

Requirements

The ability to use diagnostic tools and basic computer functions
3+ years of experience performing complex service repairs and maintenance
Candidates ideally will possess a Journeyperson Agricultural Technician certification or equivalent in a mechanical field (i.e. Heavy Equipment, Automotive)
We may consider a 3rd or 4th year Apprenticeship candidate
Knowledge and familiarity with John Deere and competitive products are a definite asset

Responsibilities

Inspection, diagnosis, repair, and service of agricultural equipment with a commitment to customer support and pride in workmanship
Use specialized tools, cutting edge technology, and innovative solutions to diagnose and complete complex repairs
Perform preventative maintenance based on manufacturer schedule/standards
Maintain current knowledge of John Deere agriculture products
Participate in John Deere University, and dealer-led training to further develop skills and technical capabilities
