About The Position

As a Service Technician at WPM, your primary responsibilities will include responding to maintenance work orders, conducting preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for new residents. You will be responsible for responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner, performing HVAC troubleshooting and routine maintenance, repairing and maintaining appliances, electrical systems, and plumbing. You will also hang, prep, and sand drywall, paint apartment units and common areas, maintain grounds, ensuring safety and cleanliness, and assist with snow removal as needed. This role requires participation in a rotating on-call schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Demonstrated skills in plumbing, electrical, or carpentry required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3–5 years of experience in residential property maintenance
• Must be available for on-call emergencies (nights, weekends, holidays)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Comfortable working on ladders and lifting up to 85 lbs
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
