About The Position

Go Kia South is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join their busy service team. This role offers a premium brand environment, clean and air-conditioned shop, state-of-the-art equipment, steady workflow, and opportunities for long-term growth within one of Canada's largest automotive groups. The position involves diagnosing, servicing, and repairing customer vehicles, completing various maintenance and repair tasks, performing inspections, writing clear repair stories, supporting customer-facing repair videos, road testing vehicles, identifying recommended repairs, and adhering to all relevant procedures. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong diagnostic and repair skills, good documentation habits, and a willingness to learn.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in dealership
• Previous experience with KIA brand
• CDK or similar dealership system experience is an asset

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair customer vehicles
• Complete maintenance and repairs on brakes, suspension, steering, drivetrain, electrical, HVAC, cooling, and related systems
• Perform accurate inspections
• Write clear repair stories using condition, cause, and correction notes
• Support customer-facing repair videos and explanations
• Road test vehicles for diagnosis and quality control
• Identify and communicate recommended repairs
• Follow warranty, recall, safety, and dealership procedures
• Work closely with Service Advisors, Parts, and fellow technicians
• Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized
