About The Position

BUTLER AUTOMOTIVE GROUP is looking for Service Technicians to join their growing team! The ideal candidate will have previous automotive experience and excellent customer service skills. This role involves performing diagnoses and repairs in all areas, with specialization in particular repair areas, and requires prior experience as a B Class general service technician. The shop is equipped with the newest technology and offers career advancement opportunities.

Requirements

Previous experience at an automotive dealership
Strong understanding of the service drive
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
Team player with ability to communicate effectively with others
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
Valid driver's license
Pre-employment drug screen and background check

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
