About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Service Technician for our residential property, Windsor Estate. Our Service Team contributes a high level of residential property maintenance knowledge and skill to the operation of the property. This position has the overall responsibility for maintaining our apartment homes, common areas and grounds, with particular attention toward efficiency, safety and asset protection. This individual will assist our Service Manager with the responsibility of managing expenses within the allotted budget, preventative maintenance, energy conservation, and ensuring that our residents are provided superior service.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years prior maintenance experience in a fast-paced residential community
  • Experience in painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems
  • A proactive approach, exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate using clear, professional English
  • Knowledge of the safe and proper use of common tools, cleaning products and supplies
  • Ability to navigate stairs and ladders, lift up to fifty pounds unassisted, and reach overhead and below
  • Flexibility to work mandatory overtime periods and assist at other residential communities when needed
  • Availability to respond to after-hours emergency calls 24/7, including weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to work on Saturdays

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining apartment homes, common areas and grounds with attention toward efficiency, safety and asset protection.
  • Assisting the Service Manager with managing expenses within the allotted budget.
  • Performing preventative maintenance.
  • Implementing energy conservation measures.
  • Ensuring residents are provided superior service.
  • Painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems maintenance.
  • Fostering harmony in the workplace and promoting a positive image of the company.
  • Performing any other tasks as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager.
