About The Position

At Sentry Equipment & Erectors, LLC, a subsidiary of ProMach’s Systems business, we have a longstanding reputation in the industries we serve. We offer an extensive portfolio of conveyor equipment and related container handling machinery. We specialize in integrating packaging equipment and conveying systems into cost-effective and efficient plan designs. As a Field Service Technician, you should be a self-starter who delivers the desired customer service experience to our customers while in the field while completing job tasks such as installation of equipment, audits of equipment, and troubleshooting system issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ yrs experience Service Conveyor and machinery
  • PLC’s – Allen Bradley, HMI and Servos
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and panel layouts (AutoCAD)
  • Industrial automation and controls system
  • Excellent problem solving and attention to details
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Strong Customer Service/Interface experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide service and customer support during field visits to customer facilities.
  • Manage onsite installation, repair, maintenance, and test requirements.
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
  • Connect to PLCs and navigate programming code.
  • Troubleshoot wiring, Check I/O, Tach conveyors
  • Implement interface connections between PLCs
  • Correct PLC, HMI and Servo codes as needed or directed by Controls Engineer
  • Generate changes as needed in HMI programs
