About The Position

Friendly Honda is seeking qualified Automotive Service Technicians to join their growing team. An Automotive Service Technician is responsible for accurately performing automotive repairs and services in accordance with store and factory standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety.

Requirements

• Current state driver's license authorizing operation of motor vehicles
• Effective analytical and communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge a plus
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Automotive mechanical experience
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive, friendly attitude

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Complete online multi-point inspection reports
• Complete all work according to applicable safety requirements
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work
• Document work performed on repair orders, record test procedures / results and time per company recording procedures
