About The Position

Levitt-Safety is hiring a Field Service Technician to support operations at the Rocanville Potash Mine. In this role, you’ll work underground servicing fire suppression and safety systems on heavy mining equipment that protect workers and machinery. If you enjoy solving mechanical problems, working safely, and taking pride in doing quality work, we’ll provide the training to build a long-term career. This is a drive-in / drive-out position with a company service truck provided.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• A strong safety mindset and attention to detail
• Dependable, organized, and willing to learn
• Comfortable using a phone or tablet for reports and training
• Working underground around heavy equipment
• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• Climbing ladders and working in tight spaces
• Wearing respirators and required PPE
• Ability to pass regular drug & alcohol screening, background checks, and maintain a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Work underground at the Rocanville potash mine
• Service vehicle fire suppression systems on heavy mining equipment
• Use hand tools and basic electrical troubleshooting to diagnose issues
• Complete inspection reports and service documentation
• Drive a company service truck to customer sites
• Work closely with the service team to plan daily service work
• Help ensure critical safety systems are working properly
