Service Technician - Industrial Equipment

About The Position

Travel to various customer locations from home or Main Office to diagnose and repair industrial equipment. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment. Communicate with Parts Department and provide information for repair and quote. Must be able to use a tablet to log in time and update work order information. Experienced technicians must be able to be lead employee on job. Must be willing to go out of town for work within 2-3 hour radius. Occasional overnight stays may be required.

Requirements

2 years of experience.
Able to diagnose equipment without assistance.
Customer Communication skills experience.
OSHA 10 Hr Training.
Basic Computer Skills & Ability to Use Tablet.
Clean Drivers License.
Must be willing to go out of town for work within 2-3 hour radius.
Occasional overnight stays may be required.
Background Test, Physical & Drug Test required.
Required to supply own basic hand tools.

Nice To Haves

Mechanical knowledge and experience.
Experience loading and unloading equipment from trucks.
Welding and electrical experience.
Experience with Hi Speed Strip, Impact, Freezer and Fire Doors.
Experience with Balers, Compactors and Dock Equipment.

Responsibilities
