Requirements
- Sufficient level of electro-mechanical skills.
- Electrical fault-finding and fault-rectification skills, including the replacement and configuration of field devices (inverters, sensors, scanners etc.).
- Mechanical fault-finding and fault-rectification skills (gearboxes / bearings / sprockets / drives etc.).
- First experience with electrical schematics / wiring diagrams.
- Skilled in the use of standard electrical test instruments.
- Relevant vocational and / or technical qualifications.
- Valid Driver license.
Nice To Haves
- Warehouse Operations experience.
- Conveyor services or material handling services experience.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting support for simple problems in the material handling system and unjamming in different sub-systems.
- Maintenance and simple troubleshooting of mechanical components.
- Maintenance and simple troubleshooting of electrical components.
- Execution of preventive maintenance (electrical and mechanical).
- Reporting of executed maintenance activities.
- Replacements of machine spare parts.
- Reporting of problems and maintenance activities that need attention.
- Attending to call outs, faults, alarms, and warnings and monitor system from the Control Room.
- Compliance with all Vanderlande programs, policies, and procedures.
- Perform other duties/assignments as occasionally required by management.
