About The Position

The Service Technician II is responsible for completing installation, service and maintenance on various commercial HVAC systems. This Position requires travel as necessary.

Requirements

Ability to follow and communicate instructions and directions both verbally and written.
Mastery of HVAC components and terminology.
Experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment
Experience w/ HVAC systems start-up/commissioning
Working knowledge of HVAC concepts related to leak detection, evacuation, recovery, charging, heath pumps and air quality systems,
Working knowledge of service tools and testing devices
Ability to follow and communicate instructions and directions both verbally and written.
High School Diploma Required.
Technical school preferred.
EPA Certified
Valid Drivers’ License
Minimum three to four years of HVAC experience required.

Responsibilities

Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
Perform preventative maintenances for a variety of commercial equipment.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems.
Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
Approaching every opportunity with a learning mindset.
Provide high level customer service.
Actively participate in NCCER Curriculum.
Must demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of air duct distribution systems, commercial and industrial.
Know relevant building codes, current legislation, regulations, policies and procedures for the installation and maintenance of systems.
