About The Position

Windsor Communities is seeking a Service Technician I for their Windsor Westbridge location in Carrollton, TX. This role supports a garden-style community of 284 apartment homes and contributes to the company's recognition for outstanding customer service. The position is ideal for individuals with a "can-do" attitude who enjoy hands-on work and are looking for career growth in a dynamic company. Previous experience in fields like custodial, janitorial, or porter services is considered relevant.

Requirements

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
  • Basic computer skills and smartphone use.
  • Ability to take direction and work independently through task completion.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs/ladders for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions and environments.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain interior and exterior curb appeal of the property, including cleanliness of amenity spaces, common areas, parking lots or decks, maintenance shop, and leasing office.
  • Assist with weather-related cleanup as needed.
  • Manage recycling and trash operations, including trash chutes, enclosures, and compactor rooms.
  • Provide support for apartment make-readies, including painting, cleaning, and light maintenance.
  • Assist with Preventative Maintenance projects.
  • Support the company’s values and cultures by providing exceptional service to teammates and residents.
