About The Position

Renewal by Andersen has an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Technician II to join our team in our South Chicago location. The Field Service Technician will provide superior customer service by performing repairs and maintenance services on Renewal by Andersen products.

Requirements

• High school degree and valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to service and repair previously installed windows & doors.
• Ability to dismantle and reassemble windows, door components, window coverings, and hardware.
• Demonstrated analytical problem solving and decision-making skills; follow systematic approach in situational analysis and definition; arrive at acceptable solutions
• Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills; strong listening and empathy skills; organization skills for managing work schedules, job priorities and stock levels.
• Ability to train others on technical application and product requirements

Nice To Haves

• 2 or more years of window installation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair previously installed Renewal by Andersen products.
• Analyzes customers situations, determines corrective action to be taken and verify the action has fixed the situation in a cost efficient and effective manner.
• Keep team member informed as needed of customer interactions and actions taken to resolve service issues.
• Coach, train and mentor Service Techs.
• Keep service area neat and organized; inventory service stock area of warehouse; request material replenishment as needed; provide detailed information to Service RSRs.
• Provide Signature Service to homeowners and peers.
• Advanced knowledge of RbA window and door installation techniques and ability to correct installation errors.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
