We’re looking for a Service Technician I to join our Abilene team. Requirements

• 1+ year of equipment repair or related industry experience with basic mechanical aptitude, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills.
• A high school diploma or GED and valid driver’s license.
• The ability to lift up to 75 pounds, regularly stand, walk, bend, lift, and twist, work in a shop environment, and participate in an on-call schedule as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical or trade school training is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, along with a willingness to learn.
• Technician certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment, including engines, electric motors, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes, steering, electrical systems, lifting systems, and other key components.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment to identify problems early, complete repairs and component rebuilds, and perform basic welding when needed.
• Work safely every day by following proper equipment procedures, maintaining a clean work area, and meeting company, DOT, OSHA, and other applicable safety requirements.
• Take ownership of every job by keeping accurate service records, maintaining needed parts and supplies, and completing required technical training and certifications.
