Service Technician / Helper - Commercial Roofing

Quality Trusted Commercial is looking for a Service Technician / Helper to support our commercial roofing service team in the field. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in commercial roofing by learning hands-on from experienced technicians and foremen. The Service Technician / Helper assists with service calls, repairs, inspections, and jobsite preparation while developing the foundational skills needed to grow into a Service Technician role.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of construction or roofing experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Commitment to safety and following direction from crew leaders
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset
- Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license required
Responsibilities
- Assist foremen with service repairs and maintenance on commercial roofing systems
- Support jobsite setup, material handling, and cleanup
- Learn to identify basic roof issues and assist in repair execution
- Follow all OSHA and company safety policies at all times
- Help document service calls through photos and basic job notes
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles in clean and working condition
- Support crew productivity by preparing materials and assisting with efficient job execution
- Travel to job sites and work in varying weather conditions
- Demonstrate willingness to learn roofing systems, repair methods, and service processes
