About The Position

The Service Technician (Electrical) position is a full-time employment opportunity within the Commercial Property Management division of Mitch Cox Companies known as Cox Property Management. This position requires but is not limited to the following objectives: assist with the maintenance of commercial facilities; interface with clientele, tenants, and contractors; and be able to troubleshoot and repair problems and complete work orders under tight deadlines without compromising quality of work.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license
Experience with hand tools and power tool equipment
Proven work experience in the electrical trade
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and guidance
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
Ability to climb ladders, operate aerial lifts, and work on commercial roofs.

Responsibilities

Process and complete work orders
Troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical systems for commercial facilities
Replace or install new branch circuits for equipment (EMT conduit and/or MC cable)
Retrofit existing lighting fixtures with new LED conversion bulbs/tubes
Replace and/or install new LED fixtures
Repair and/or replace exterior site lighting and parking lot lighting
Perform general repairs & routine maintenance items for commercial facilities
Perform or assist with minor plumbing or HVAC repairs
Install and remove real estate signage
Conduct gutter/roof inspections and maintenance
Patch, repair, and paint drywall
Maintain interior and exterior doors and door hardware
Collect litter/debris from commercial property grounds
