About The Position

As a Service Technician at Sporting Life, you will be the expert on assessing and provide recommendations on maintenance and servicing of our customers’ equipment. You will provide advice and problem solve equipment needs, and then set up and repair.

Requirements

  • Previous Service Shop experience is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to build trust.
  • Positive work attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • You are a passionate and knowledgeable about the sports we play in and the equipment we carry.
  • Previous customer service experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Complete Ski and Snowboard tunes, waxing, repairs, installations and other services as needed.
  • Build and repair bikes.
  • String Racquets.
  • Maintain all shop equipment and service area.
  • Provide appropriate quotes for services provided.
  • Ensure all required documentation is complete and signed prior to releasing equipment to the customer.
  • Stay up to date on new equipment and fitting and maintenance techniques.
