The Service Technician is responsible for the installation, service, and repair of GPC beverage equipment. This position offers a Monday – Friday schedule, working from 8am until 4:00pm. If you are a motivated individual with a passion for providing excellent customer service and have experience in equipment installation and repair, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as a Service Technician at GPC. “A day in the life of a Service Technician looks like:” · Perform installations, service work, and repairs on all beverage equipment including coolers, vending machines, fountain equipment and hot beverage equipment. · Completing the daily work orders with accuracy and creating invoices. · Be the face of GPC while providing excellent communication with customers to ensure expectations are clearly understood and met with best in class service. · Communicates with management and coworkers to identify and resolve problems. · Maintain a safe work environment. What does it take to be a Service Technician?
Requirements
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be able to available to be on call every 6th weekend.
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- EPA Section 608 Technician Certification required.
- Associate Degree in refrigeration or have equivalent knowledge and experience required.
- Adept at using a smart phone, Outlook, and general computer software.
Nice To Haves
- Electrical and plumbing experience preferred.
- Experience with sealed system refrigeration is preferred.
