About The Position

Work hands-on to install, inspect, and service propane and gas systems, ensuring safe, reliable operation for customers. Sweetwater Propane is a small, locally owned, faith-based company providing reliable propane service across southern Pennsylvania and the Finger Lakes region of New York. With a focus on integrity, respect, and community, the team values its people and works to make a meaningful impact every day.

Requirements

• Must be 25+ and able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
• Basic computer skills and ability to write clear, accurate service notes.
• Able to lift and handle equipment weighing 50-75 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• CDL Class A or B preferred
• Mechanical background or aptitude preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform safety inspections on customer propane (LP) systems.
• Install, maintain, & repair propane equipment and systems in a field service environment.
• Diagnose issues and find/repair leaks on customer systems.
• Communicate clearly with customers and provide on-site professional service.
• Complete service tickets, billing, and track parts, tools, and inventory.
• Cross-train to assist with propane deliveries during busy seasons.
• Inspect & maintain company vehicles and report any issues or damage.
• Work outdoors in a variety of conditions while traveling locally (within ~35 miles).
