About The Position

Superior Cabinets is looking for an experienced Service Technician / Cabinet Touch-Up Specialist to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in cabinet installation, millwork, finishing, or warranty service who takes pride in delivering exceptional workmanship and outstanding customer service. As the Service Technician / Cabinet Touch-Up Specialist, you will be responsible for completing warranty work, service calls, repairs, adjustments, and cabinet touch-ups in customers' homes and on construction sites. You will be one of the final representatives of Superior Cabinets that our customers interact with, making professionalism, communication, and attention to detail essential.

Requirements

  • Experience in cabinet installation, cabinet finishing, woodworking, millwork, or finish carpentry.
  • Cabinet touch-up and colour-matching experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple service appointments.
  • Valid driver's licence.

Responsibilities

  • Complete cabinet warranty and service work in residential homes and construction sites.
  • Perform professional touch-ups on painted, stained, and clear-coated cabinetry.
  • Repair or replace damaged cabinet components, mouldings, panels, fillers, and trim.
  • Adjust cabinet doors, drawer fronts, hinges, drawer slides, and hardware.
  • Diagnose service issues and determine effective repair solutions.
  • Accurately document completed work, including photos and service notes where required.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, installers, designers, and office staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Represent Superior Cabinets with professionalism, integrity, and pride in every service visit.
