We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced technician to work in our diverse and expanding Service dept. The ideal candidate is an experienced Automotive Technician with hands-on expertise in classic and custom vehicle restoration, including paint and body repair, as well as routine maintenance and mechanical service work. This role requires versatility, craftsmanship, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional automotive technician experience
  • Demonstrated experience in vehicle restoration, including paint and body repair
  • Strong mechanical diagnostic and repair skills
  • Proficiency with automotive tools and shop equipment
  • Paint booth and spray equipment experience
  • Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and schematics
  • Welding and fabrication experience (MIG/TIG preferred)
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours per shift)
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and working in tight spaces
  • Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and spray guns
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and shop environments
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators for paint work

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with classic, vintage, or custom vehicles
  • I-CAR certification or ASE certifications
  • Completion of a technical or vocational automotive program preferred
  • Ongoing training in mechanical diagnostics, refinishing, or collision repair is a plus
  • ASE Certification(s) (A-Series or Master Technician preferred)
  • I-CAR Certification (Collision/Refinishing)
  • EPA Section 609 Certification (A/C systems)
  • Paint manufacturer or refinishing training certifications
  • Welding certifications (MIG/TIG) are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform metal fabrication, panel replacement, rust repair, and structural repairs
  • Complete body prep including sanding, filler work, and priming
  • Execute paint work including masking, color matching, blending, and finishing
  • Disassemble and reassemble Revology, classic and custom vehicles
  • Diagnose and correct cosmetic and structural issues
  • Perform routine maintenance (brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, etc.)
  • Conduct engine diagnostics and repairs
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs
  • Complete inspections and provide accurate repair recommendations
  • Maintain detailed service documentation
