About The Position
Long-Lewis of Cullman is seeking motivated individuals to join our Service team as Automotive Apprentices. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity for those with a tech background and an oil change certification to gain hands-on experience while learning from our Certified Service Technicians. As an apprentice, you will work towards advancing your skills and knowledge, with the potential to grow into a Service Technician role.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid oil change certification.
- Some training or experience in automotive repair and maintenance is preferred.
- Unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong physical dexterity and stamina.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and excellent communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Some training or experience in automotive repair and maintenance is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist Certified Service Technicians in performing a variety of automotive services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and general vehicle maintenance.
- Support vehicle inspections and help maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Learn to conduct thorough vehicle check-ups and assist in preparing Vehicle Check-Up Reports.
- Engage with customers to provide information and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
