About The Position

This position is responsible for delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers in shopping the store, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience. The role also involves truck unloading, merchandise duties, and maintaining store recovery standards to uphold the brand promise. Team members will engage customers about the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, educate them on the Voice of Customer survey, and assist with Omni channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS). Additionally, the role requires participation in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes, as well as merchandise recovery and maintenance. The Service Team Member will also support shrink and safety programs, adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs, and interact positively with colleagues. This role may also involve cross-training in Custom Framing.

Requirements

  • Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop the store.
  • Ensure a fast and friendly checkout experience.
  • Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties.
  • Maintain store recovery standards.
  • Help customers locate products and provide solutions.
  • Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
  • Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
  • Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
  • Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the merchandise return/go-back process and general store recovery.
  • Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
  • Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner.
  • Promote commitment to the organization’s vision and values.
  • Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
  • Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
  • Other duties as assigned.
