Mercedes-Benz Van Center of Vancouver is opening a brand-new, dedicated Sprinter Van Center in August 2026 and is seeking Service Support Staff. These roles are hands-on and active, focusing on keeping vehicles moving, clients comfortable, and the facility running smoothly. The company emphasizes a hospitality-first culture and offers a ground-floor opportunity to help build the team and its operations. The roles include Service Porter and Hourly Detailer, both contributing to a premium client experience. The Mercedes-Benz Van Center of Vancouver is a purpose-built facility exclusively for Sprinter vans, serving a diverse clientele. Requirements
- Strong work ethic and willingness to stay active and engaged throughout the shift
- Attention to detail — especially for detailing roles where quality is visible in the final product
- Friendly, professional attitude; you're interacting with clients and teammates all day
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required for both roles)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Punctual, dependable, and takes personal pride in their work
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in automotive service, detailing, or car wash environments is a plus but not required — we'll train the right person
Responsibilities
- Move and stage vehicles throughout the service drive, lot, and detailing area quickly and safely
- Perform thorough interior and exterior vehicle cleaning and detailing to a premium standard
- Prepare vehicles for client delivery — ensuring every van is spotless and impressive at pickup
- Assist the service team with keeping the shop, drive lanes, and lot organized and hazard-free
- Provide client shuttle transportation as needed with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Monitor vehicle keys and ensure proper tracking of vehicles in your care
- Support service advisors and technicians with vehicle logistics so they can stay focused on their work
- Uphold the cleanliness and presentation standards of the facility at all times
