About The Position

Diehl Hyundai of Massillon is seeking a skilled and motivated automotive professional to join their team as a Service Shop Foreman. This role is ideal for an experienced Hyundai technician, EV technician, or team leader looking to advance into a leadership position while utilizing their technical expertise. The position is based in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility designed to support the success of the technicians and service team.

Requirements

Strong automotive diagnostic and repair experience.
Hyundai experience strongly preferred.
Hyundai EV or electric vehicle experience preferred.
Previous leadership, team lead, or foreman experience is a plus.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to coach and develop technicians.
A commitment to quality workmanship and doing the job right.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical leader of the service department.
Work alongside technicians and management to ensure shop productivity and efficient, correct repairs.
Lead, mentor, and assist technicians.
Provide technical guidance on complex diagnostics and repairs.
Assist with Hyundai EV and advanced vehicle diagnostics.
Help technicians troubleshoot challenging repair concerns.
Monitor workflow, productivity, and repair quality.
Perform quality-control inspections.
Ensure repairs meet Hyundai and dealership standards.
Collaborate with Service Advisors and Service Management to maintain workflow.
Assist with technician training and development.
Promote a positive, productive, team-oriented shop environment.
Maintain high standards for safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
