Responsibilities

Performs inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs in accordance with company guidelines under the direct supervision of a qualified Shop Technician on Walmart equipment, including trailers.
Creates and processes work orders; assesses maintenance and repair needs; identifies required parts and potential solutions; selects the most effective repair approach; and performs maintenance and repairs such as mounting and dismounting tires, repairing flats, balancing tires, adjusting landing gear, replacing lights, and completing trailer door repairs.
Follows company policies and Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines and requirements, seeks approval for maintenance and repairs from qualified Shop Technicians, communicates effectively with customers, suppliers, and associates both verbally and in writing, and completes work orders, records, logs, and other written or computer-based documentation according to established procedures.
Receives fuel deliveries and conducts fuel sampling by monitoring fuel drops to ensure safety and compliance, following procedures for fuel additives, monitoring tank levels before and after deliveries, collecting and preparing fuel samples for analysis and shipment, and completing all required documentation.
