About The Position

Pacific Supply is seeking an entry-level Service Representative/Yard Material Handler to support warehouse operations and serve walk-in and call-in customers. The role involves receiving, storing, loading, and distributing building materials; accurately processing and fulfilling orders; and maintaining an organized, clean, and safe yard and counter area. It requires physical stamina, customer service skills, and attention to detail. Previous building-industry experience is preferred but not required. Forklift training may be provided if needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, yard, or retail customer-service experience preferred.
• Forklift experience and certification preferred; training may be provided.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 100 pounds throughout the shift.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems preferred.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and in a physically demanding environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in the building industry.

Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment; training may be provided if needed.
• Safely load and unload materials, including heavy items weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and organize materials.
• Assist customers in person and by phone with product inquiries, order placement, and issue resolution.
• Accurately process quotes, orders, and returns using point-of-sale and inventory systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the yard and sales area.
• Communicate with internal teams and vendors to coordinate deliveries and product availability.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Drive company vehicles to support deliveries when required and qualified.
