About The Position

The Service Representative (Non CDL Driver) is responsible for completing beverage deliveries in a courteous, professional, and timely manner to assigned routes in a geographical location. This role is a full-time exempt position within the Southeast's largest beverage and beer distributors.

Requirements

• Ability to work a schedule that includes early mornings (3:00 AM - 8:00 AM start times).
• Provide exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
• Ability to accurately complete all required paperwork, accounting, and documentation.
• Ability to solve practical and simple math problems.
• Ability to work in a friendly manner as part of a team and to develop effective working relationships with colleagues, customers, and their staff.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Possesses a valid driver's license in the state of residence while maintaining a good driving record.
• Represents SCP’s commitment to excellence through PARTNERS values.

• CDL Permit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completing beverage deliveries in a courteous, professional, and timely manner to assigned routes.
• Performing accurate inventory and daily check procedures.
• Ensuring accuracy of billing to customers.
• Maintaining a clean and serviceable vehicle and completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Following all retail procedures regarding deliveries, including merchandising.
• Communicating effectively and timely with the Service Manager regarding route adjustments, emergencies, extended hours, or additional assignments.
• Communicating with Sales Representatives as needed.
• Fueling delivery vehicles to maintain adequate fluid levels.
• Complying with company policies, procedures, and all applicable laws.
• Working with others, building, and maintaining relationships.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
