About The Position

Pedersen Toyota is a family-owned dealership serving drivers in Fort Collins, Windsor, and Loveland, Colorado, for over 50 years. The Service Porter moves vehicles through the repair process, performs light facility cleaning and maintenance, assists service department personnel with processing and delivering serviced vehicles, and supports other shop operations as needed. This is a full-time role with compensation of $17.00 to $18.00, depending on experience (DOE).

Requirements

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Ability to safely operate customer vehicles and follow assigned schedules and department procedures.

Responsibilities

Follow vehicle-handling, key-control, and department procedures.
Report to the Service Manager or designated Service Advisor at the beginning of each shift and support department workflow as directed.
Greet customers in the service drive, determine appointment status, and connect customers with the assigned or first available Service Advisor.
Prepare customer vehicles for service by applying required tags, seat covers, floor mats, and related protection materials.
Move, park, lock, and retrieve vehicles in designated areas according to department procedures.
Place and maintain vehicle keys on the appropriate service keyboard or finished-service rack.
Assist Service Advisors with vehicle delivery, pickup-area staging, and removal of protective materials when requested.
Maintain clean, safe, and orderly service drive, parking, and work areas.
Check the service parking lot at the end of each day to confirm vehicles are locked and keys are stored properly.
Perform other duties as assigned.
