Service Porter
About The Position
Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Service Porter to join their team at Kendall Auto of the Kenai Peninsula. This is an entry-level, full-time hourly position that provides training and opportunities for career growth within the automotive industry, whether in service or sales. Porters work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring vehicles are moved and parked correctly, driving Kendall vehicles safely, and representing the Kendall brand. The role involves customer service, assisting with vehicle check-in, retrieving parts, operating snow removal equipment, washing vehicles, vacuuming interiors, and maintaining the cleanliness of the service drive.
Requirements
- Capacity to operate a wide variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans, including hybrid models
- Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission
- Good, clean driving record
- Valid driver license
Responsibilities
- Moving and parking service vehicles as needed
- Communicating and providing superior customer service to service clients
- Directing service customers to the appropriate advisor
- Obtaining basic information from vehicles to assist with check in process
- Retrieving parts and supplies
- Operating snow removal equipment
- Washing exterior of vehicles
- Vacuuming interiors of vehicles
- Performing janitorial tasks to keep service drive clean and presentable
