About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Service Porter to join their Ford Team. This is an entry-level, full-time, hourly position that provides training and opportunities for growth within the automotive industry. The role involves moving and parking service vehicles, providing customer service, assisting with vehicle check-in, retrieving parts, operating snow removal equipment, washing vehicle exteriors, vacuuming interiors, and performing janitorial tasks to maintain a clean service drive. The position requires working both indoors and outdoors, with frequent standing, walking, bending, and twisting. Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds and rare lifting up to 50 pounds is necessary.

Requirements

• Capacity to operate a wide variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans, including hybrid models
• Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission
• Good, clean driving record
• Valid driver license

Responsibilities

• Moving and parking service vehicles
• Communicating and providing superior customer service to service clients
• Directing service customers to the appropriate advisor
• Obtaining basic information from vehicles to assist with check-in process
• Retrieving parts and supplies
• Operating snow removal equipment
• Washing exterior of vehicles
• Vacuuming interiors of vehicles
• Performing janitorial tasks to keep service drive clean and presentable
