About The Position

The Porter is responsible for moving service customer vehicles to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow through the facility and increase customer convenience while maintaining an orderly service parking area. The Porter position has a pay scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $18.00.

Requirements

All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner
All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license

Responsibilities

Greet customers entering the service area with a friendly, upbeat professional attitude; answer questions and direct them to the appropriate person or location
Determine if customers have appointments and record customer name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage
Control service traffic flow and parking; assist with loaner vehicles and park vehicles after they have been written up
Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and ID tags in all service vehicles; prepare and deliver keys and repair orders to the appropriate Service Advisor
Retrieve customer vehicles at cashier for pick-up; wait at vehicle and thank customers for their business
Drive vehicles safely to and from service lanes, stalls, and parking areas; report any lot damage immediately to management
Maintain a clean and safe service drive area, free of trash, water, leaves, and dirt
Follow all company safety policies and procedures; immediately report any accidents to a manager or supervisor
