About The Position

The Service Porter plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the service department by maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the shop and vehicles. This position ensures trucks are cleaned, moved, and prepared efficiently while assisting with basic tasks that help keep workflow running smoothly. The Service Porter contributes to a positive customer experience and a safe, well-maintained work environment.

Requirements

Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles, including manual transmission (preferred).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record - CDL preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of shop safety procedures and willingness to follow all guidelines.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a porter, lot attendant, or similar role is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of vehicles by washing and vacuuming interiors and exteriors.
Park and retrieve vehicles in designated areas safely and efficiently.
Assist with delivery of vehicles to customers and ensure safe transportation when needed.
Perform basic maintenance tasks such as fueling vehicles and checking fluid levels.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and service areas.
Communicate effectively with team members to support workflow and daily operations.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
