About The Position

Haley Volvo of Richmond is seeking a seasonal, part-time Automotive Shuttle Driver / Porter. The role supports the safe and timely transportation of customers and vehicles between dealerships, service centers, parking facilities, and other designated locations. The driver provides courteous customer service and follows traffic laws and company safety protocols. The position also involves maintaining the cleanliness and operational condition of the shuttle vehicle and promptly reporting maintenance needs.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Proven experience operating passenger vehicles safely.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• Physical ability to assist passengers and handle vehicle-related tasks.

• Familiarity with local traffic patterns and routes within the service area.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to operate GPS and other navigation tools efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate shuttle vehicles to transport customers and vehicles safely between specified locations within scheduled timeframes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report mechanical issues or damage.
• Assist customers with boarding and exiting the shuttle, provide excellent customer service, and address inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of shuttle trips, including mileage, fuel usage, incidents, and delays.
• Follow traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
• Maintain the cleanliness and operational condition of the shuttle vehicle and promptly report maintenance needs.
