About The Position

MAC Mechanical is seeking a skilled, highly professional Service Plumber to diagnose, repair, install, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems. This position is classified as safety-sensitive. We are looking for a candidate who is dedicated to the craft, doesn't push sales, and allows for learning and growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Service Plumber required
  • Must demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and a high level of professionalism in all interactions with customers, team members, and supervisors
  • Valid Arkansas Journeyman Plumbing License
  • Valid Arkansas driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Working knowledge of Arkansas plumbing and gas codes
  • Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screening and background check
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage service calls

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level customer service and communicate effectively with customers, team members, supervisors, and management to complete jobs efficiently
  • Install, repair, maintain, design, assemble, and pressure test plumbing systems for water, gas, heating, and drainage in accordance with plumbing codes and specifications
  • Diagnose plumbing issues, determine root causes, and troubleshoot and repair systems including piping, fixtures, and equipment such as water heaters, dishwashers, and kitchen appliances
  • Install and repair pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, and plumbing equipment, including supports and hangers for complete systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine system layouts and installation requirements
  • Receive, manage, and complete work orders accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate job documentation including notes, material usage, labor tracking, invoices, and proposals using Knowify and company standards
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met and job sites are clean and compliant
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, equipment, and materials in proper working condition
  • Respond to emergency service calls as needed and participate in on-call rotation as required
  • Work independently and manage daily service schedules efficiently
  • Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and applicable plumbing codes
