About The Position

Bothwell-Accurate Co. Ltd. has been a leader in roofing, waterproofing, cladding and glazing services across British Columbia and Ontario for over 90 years. With more than 60,000 completed projects, we’re known for delivering high-quality, innovative and reliable building envelope solutions to commercial, industrial and institutional clients. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Service Manager to lead our Service Department in Surrey, BC. In this role, you’ll oversee the delivery of routine and emergency service, as well as installation projects and related construction services. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and wants to build strong client relationships while leading a skilled service team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in service management, construction operations, or field service leadership
  • Previous experience managing technicians, field staff, or service crews
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong relationship-building and customer development skills
  • Comfortable interacting with property managers, consultants, and building owners
  • Sales confidence and the ability to help develop new service opportunities and customer relationships
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of construction operations, scheduling, dispatching, and project coordination
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to sites as required

Nice To Haves

  • Roofing or building envelope experience considered an asset
  • Previous experience working with local property managers and building owners considered a strong asset

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily service operations, scheduling, dispatching, and project coordination
  • Lead field teams and support operational performance, safety, quality, and client satisfaction
  • Coordinate site visits, project requirements, materials, equipment, and timelines
  • Support estimating, quoting, work planning, and project execution
  • Manage emergency service requests, preventive maintenance programs, repair work, and ongoing service requirements
  • Monitor project progress, documentation, labour allocation, and operational efficiency
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, building owners, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Actively develop new customer relationships throughout Vancouver and the surrounding region
  • Support business development efforts through networking, relationship building, client engagement, and cold calling
  • Assist in growing recurring service-based business opportunities rather than strictly project-driven work
  • Support department growth through strong service delivery, sales confidence, and operational leadership
  • Assist with process improvements, workflow management, and overall team performance
