About The Position

Wiese USA, a leading material handling dealer with over 80 years of success, is seeking an Operations Manager for its Dock and Door Division. This role is crucial for driving culture, operations, and safety at the local dealership level, implementing Wiese's strategic plan for profitability and growth. The manager will lead by example, promoting Wiese's vision, values, culture, and safety. This position requires a deep understanding of the market, anticipating customer needs, and leading service and parts staff to achieve their highest revenue potential. The Operations Manager will also partner with sales and rental teams and lead local safety initiatives to ensure team members' well-being. This role involves mentoring and developing staff to maximize team performance, with success measured by the team's ability to achieve strategic business goals. Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience of service/repair department.
  • Basic understanding of all our products and services required.
  • Strong communication skills including the desire to develop and lead a team.
  • Ability to manage/prioritize multiple tasks/projects.
  • Basic understanding of business management, financial documents, team building, motivation skills.
  • Effective computer skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Master Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.

Nice To Haves

  • Construction background or related experience preferable.
  • A general knowledge of construction or related experience is highly desirable.
