About The Position

Wiese USA, a material handling dealer with over 80 years of success, is seeking an Operations Manager for its Dock and Door Division in Springfield, MO. This role involves leading a service and parts staff to achieve revenue potential, partnering with sales and rental teams, and championing local safety efforts. The manager will act as a mentor and teacher, hiring and developing staff to maximize team performance and achieve strategic business goals. The position is 60% office-based and 40% customer-facing.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience of service/repair department.
  • Basic understanding of all Wiese products and services.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Desire to develop and lead a team.
  • Ability to manage/prioritize multiple tasks/projects.
  • Basic understanding of business management, financial documents, team building, and motivation skills.
  • Effective computer skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Master Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.

Nice To Haves

  • Construction background or related experience preferable.
  • General knowledge of construction or related experience is highly desirable.
