About The Position

The Service Operations Assistant supports store leadership by helping coordinate front‑end and service operations to ensure excellent customer experiences, efficient workflow, and compliance with company standards. This role assists with daily execution, associate support, and operational follow‑through while reinforcing service, safety, and accuracy across the store.

Requirements

  • Previous retail, service, or operational experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast‑paced environment
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the store for extended periods
  • Ability to assist with light lifting or pushing carts as needed
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Support daily service operations including front‑end flow, customer service activities, and store readiness
  • Assist store and department leadership with execution of service programs, initiatives, and operational priorities
  • Help monitor customer traffic and support staffing or task adjustments to maintain service levels
  • Ensure service areas are clean, organized, and operating according to company standards
  • Assist with resolving customer questions, complaints, and service recovery situations
  • Support operational consistency across departments by following up on priorities and assignments
  • Help ensure adherence to cash handling, safety, and loss prevention practices
  • Serve as a point of support during peak business periods or leadership coverage needs
  • Lead by example and promote a positive, customer‑focused environment
  • Support onboarding and training of new associates as assigned
  • Reinforce expectations for service, reliability, and operational execution
  • Communicate clearly with associates and leadership to ensure alignment
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and service standards
  • Support completion of required documentation, reports, and task follow‑ups
  • Promote safety awareness and compliance throughout service areas
