About The Position

The Service Operations Assistant supports front‑end and store operations by assisting with customer service execution, associate coordination, and daily operational tasks. This role helps ensure a smooth checkout experience, efficient service desk operations, and high standards of customer satisfaction while supporting store leadership and front‑end teams.

Requirements

  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to support, train, and guide associates
  • Basic cash handling and register experience
  • Strong organization, problem‑solving, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks

Responsibilities

  • Support daily front‑end operations including registers, service desk, and customer flow
  • Assist with opening, closing, and shift readiness procedures
  • Ensure checkout lanes are staffed appropriately based on customer traffic
  • Monitor register performance and resolve basic operational issues
  • Provide outstanding customer service and support service desk activities
  • Address customer questions, concerns, and issues in a professional manner
  • Support refunds, exchanges, cash handling, and other front-end transactions as assigned
  • Promote a friendly, efficient, and welcoming customer experience
  • Assist with coordinating front-end associates and assigning daily tasks
  • Support training and coaching of cashiers and service desk associates
  • Reinforce service standards, productivity, and positive teamwork
  • Act as a point of contact for front-end associates during assigned shifts
  • Support cash office procedures, register audits, and cash controls as assigned
  • Ensure proper cash handling, accuracy, and accountability standards are followed
  • Assist with resolving register discrepancies and reporting issues to leadership
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and front-end procedures
  • Promote safe work practices and immediately address safety concerns
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe front-end environment
