The Service Navigator for Goodwill's Re-Entry program acts as a service coordinator for participants transitioning from incarceration in a Bureau of Prison (BOP) facility to a BOP Residential Reentry Center (RRC) or BOP-contracted RRC, and ultimately, back into the community. This role is crucial in preparing reentrants for community reintegration through pre-release planning, employment training, and other vital supportive services. The position coordinates services with other Goodwill programs, First Step Act staff, and community partners to ensure seamless service delivery. The Service Navigator is responsible for providing advocacy, full scope case planning, job placement services, and program referrals to help participants overcome barriers to reentry. The team is expected to split their work week between agency and community partner sites, requiring reliable transportation.
