About The Position

This role is based out of our Villa Park, IL location and requires daily presence. About Nations Roof Nations Roof is a leading national commercial roofing contractor delivering reliable, cost-effective solutions across all major roofing and waterproofing systems. We focus on safety, quality, and long-term asset performance through both project work and ongoing maintenance programs. Position Summary The Service Manager leads day-to-day service operations, including repairs, maintenance, and small projects, while driving team performance, customer satisfaction, and financial results. This role partners with senior leadership to grow territory revenue and manage P&L.

Requirements

• 5+ years commercial roofing experience (TPO, PVC, EPDM, BUR, Mod Bit, Metal, Coatings)
• Leadership experience managing crews or service teams
• Strong estimating (repairs, replacements, surveys, maintenance)
• Work Order/spec reading and project management skills
• Knowledge of codes, safety (OSHA), and system design
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and field technology
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead service sales reps and field crews (repairs, maintenance, install)
• Manage scheduling, dispatch, and daily field operations
• Oversee service contracts and customer relationships
• Resolve technical and customer issues
• Monitor KPIs, improve performance, and drive accountability
• Manage budgets, P&L, invoicing, and cost controls
• Hire, train, and develop team members
• Identify and grow service and maintenance opportunities
