About The Position

Wynn Odom Ford is seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to lead our service department. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can maintain high customer satisfaction, mentor a team of technicians and advisors, and ensure the shop runs at peak efficiency. While Ford experience is a significant plus , it is not a requirement for the right candidate who possesses a strong background in automotive service management and a commitment to excellence.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in automotive service management or as a senior service advisor.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with DMS (Dealer Management System) software is essential.
• A customer-first attitude with a "roll-up-your-sleeves" approach to problem-solving.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with Ford Lincoln systems and warranty procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the service department, including workflow management and staff scheduling.
• Maintain a high "Fix It Right the First Time" rate and address customer concerns with professional, proactive solutions.
• Drive profitability by managing labor rates, monitoring expenses, and meeting monthly performance goals.
• Recruit, train, and motivate service advisors and technicians; ensure all staff stay up-to-date on Ford STARS certification and training requirements.
• Ensure all Field Service Actions (Safety Recalls and Compliance Alerts) are handled according to manufacturer standards.
• Work closely with the Parts Department to ensure seamless coordination for repairs.
