About The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Service Manager for a multi-line dealership to join the leadership team at Modern Mazda in Burlington, NC. The Service Manager will successfully run an efficient and profitable multi-car line service department, customer retention, cost controls, achieving objectives, and maintaining all service records. This position is responsible for operations, profitability, performance results, and customer satisfaction in the Service Department.

Requirements

  • Outstanding leadership skills which focus on treating employees with respect
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in an Automotive Service Manager role
  • Unwavering commitment to ethical business practices
  • Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA & Right-To-Know, etc.
  • Strong management skills with a stable work history

Nice To Haves

  • CDK experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Maintains CSI at or above manufacturer standards
  • Strives for 100% customer satisfaction by building relationships with customers
  • Interfaces with department managers to improve operations, performance, and profitability.
  • Understands and ensures compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures
  • Develop and implement a marketing plan which promotes new and repeat business.
  • Maintains outstanding business relationships with manufacturer
  • Sets, monitors, and drives the achievement of performance targets of Advisors, Technicians, and department.
  • Manages talent acquisition, mentoring, and training
