We are currently seeking a driven, hands-on Service Manager to lead and support our team of Pest Control Technicians in the field. This is a key leadership role responsible for technician development, route performance, customer satisfaction, branch compliance, and overall service quality. Requirements

  • Pest control licenses 7A, 7B & 13
  • 2+ years of pest control experience required OR 4-year degree with 3+ years of management experience and at least 1 year of pest control experience
  • Strong working knowledge of pest control treatments, services, regulations, and safety procedures
  • Knowledge of common household and commercial pests, including insects and rodents
  • Experience coaching, developing, and managing field employees
  • Proficiency with PestPac, handheld devices, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work outdoors in a variety of environmental and seasonal conditions
  • Flexibility to work between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM, with extended hours during peak season (April-September)
  • Appropriate state licensing for all branch-based services

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support a team of Pest Control Technicians in both residential and commercial service
  • Provide daily field support, including troubleshooting pest issues, product usage questions, route concerns, and problem accounts
  • Conduct regular one-on-one check-ins with technicians to review performance, productivity, and customer service
  • Perform monthly ride-a-longs with each technician to provide coaching, quality control, and hands-on development
  • Review and adjust technician routes to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction
  • Identify training opportunities and deliver ad hoc field training on pest identification, treatment methods, and service best practices
  • Teach technicians how to identify and capture sales opportunities, including recurring service plans and add-on services
  • Lead branch huddle meetings to communicate updates, expectations, and branch initiatives
  • Perform quality assurance checks and review technician log reports for accuracy and compliance
  • Troubleshoot difficult customer situations and complex pest management concerns
  • Oversee large commercial set-up and intensive service work as needed
  • Review technician activity, routing efficiency, time-off requests, and weekly timesheets
  • Inspect vehicles, equipment, and service tools to ensure proper maintenance and safety compliance
  • Interview and evaluate applicants for Pest Control Technician openings
  • Recommend top performers for licensing advancement, promotions, and stretch assignments
  • Ensure branch adherence to company policies, state regulations, and pest control safety standards
