We're looking for a Service Manager who is a results-driven leader with a proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams. As a Service Manager for Genesis of Downers Grove, you’ll: Assesses present and future need, trends, problems, and profit opportunities of the service department Establishes short and long-term operating and financial objectives for the service department, within the Company's overall plans and policies Ensures that approved policies and objectives are clearly understood and effectively applied within the department Formulates annual and monthly sale/profit objectives are expense budgets in accordance with company objectives Reviews and appraises the results of the activities within the departments and takes appropriate action as necessary Selects, coaches, leads, trains, and supervises shop personnel Works to consistently improve CSI and performance of advisors Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner Provide high level service to both internal and external customers

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Service Manager, Shop Foreman, or related role in a dealership service department
  • Familiarity with customer service standards and processes
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to get the job done
  • Eager to improve in a dynamic work environment
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills
  • Proven high CSI
  • Extremely focused on following and guarding processes

Nice To Haves

  • Genesis experience is ideal
  • CDK experience is preferred

Responsibilities
