About The Position

We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Service Manager to lead our service department and help deliver an outstanding ownership experience for our customers. The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the service department. This role includes leading service advisors and technicians, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, maximizing department efficiency and profitability, and maintaining manufacturer standards and compliance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Service Manager in a high-volume automotive service department
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Solid understanding of automotive repair processes and service department operations
  • Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and develop service advisors, technicians, and support staff
  • Ensure an outstanding customer experience from vehicle check-in through delivery
  • Monitor service department performance metrics including productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction scores
  • Oversee warranty claims and ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized service department
  • Communicate effectively with sales, parts, and other departments to improve operational efficiency
  • Manage parts and labor pricing structures in alignment with dealership goals
  • Drive fixed operations growth through process improvement and customer retention initiatives
