About The Position

AIR Communities is seeking a Maintenance Manager for Creekside Apartment Homes in Denver, CO. Service Managers play a crucial role in making our apartment communities desirable places to live by ensuring the appearance and maintenance are top-notch. We utilize industry-leading technology for a modern approach to maintenance, enabling our teams to efficiently assist residents with both apartment turns for new residents and resolving service requests for current residents. Every day presents new challenges and opportunities to provide excellent service.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience with technical maintenance and facilities management in the property management industry
  • 1-3 years of experience leading a team of people in customer service and asset maintenance
  • A reliable mode of transportation
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks (depending on community needs and seasonality), and on-call shifts (at least one week a month)
  • Comfort with physical activity as you must be able and willing to move heavy equipment and machinery
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of 2+ direct reports
  • Provide exemplary service to residents and team members
  • Manage all aspects of property maintenance, including vendor relationships, service staff, preventative maintenance, apartment turns, and resident service requests
  • Communicate property maintenance and capital needs to management and ensure these needs are addressed
  • Ensure property compliance with AIR operating procedures/guidelines, regulations, and other compliance matters, including Environmental Health & Safety
  • Manage budget efficiently to maximize return on investment while maintaining the highest level of quality and customer service
