About The Position

Anderson Mechanical Services is seeking a highly motivated Service Manager to lead and oversee our commercial HVAC and plumbing service operations. This role is responsible for managing service technicians and service support staff, ensuring quality customer service, and driving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in HVAC and plumbing, excellent leadership skills, and a focus on delivering outstanding service to our clients.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC and/or plumbing service management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service mindset.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in service management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a commercial HVAC and plumbing service environment.
  • Technical certifications in HVAC or plumbing are a plus.
  • Business development and/or sales experience within a service department.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficiency and quality service delivery.
  • Manage and support service technicians, including scheduling oversight, training, and performance management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Monitor service metrics, budgets, and profitability to drive operational success.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Assist in business development efforts by identifying service opportunities and growing customer accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to optimize service operations and resource allocation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of service activities, work orders, and reports.
